Can epoxy be used outdoors on a patio or pool deck?
Standard epoxy is not recommended outdoors because it yellows in sunlight. Outdoor concrete should get a UV-stable polyaspartic or polyurea topcoat with a textured, slip-resistant finish.
Is a coated patio or pool deck slippery when wet?
Not when texture is built in. Anti-slip aggregate is added to the topcoat to increase grip for bare feet and wet conditions.
Should I seal or coat my driveway?
